Libraries
Brighton has several libraries in and around the city, most of them having an area just for kids. Its main one, Jubilee Library, is in the centre of the city, and is very popular with Brighton's families. It's the fifth most visited library in the country! All the libraries offer free use of computers, with some providing extra protection especially for the young user. Look out for the various activities and special events for children at Brighton's libraries, which can also be found in our What's On section.
Whilst borrowing books is free, there is a small charge for borrowing CDs and DVDs. However, there may be concessions for those on benefits. Anyone can join a library as long as proof of address is provided.
