Parks and Playgrounds
We are quite spoilt for good parks and playgrounds in Brighton and Hove. Six of Brighton and Hove's parks have been awarded the Green Flag, which means they have achieved high environmental standards, contribute to the local community, are clean and well maintained, secure and safe, well managed and support conservation and our heritage. Those awarded the Green Flag are: Preston Park, St Ann's Well Gardens, Hove Park, Easthill Park, Kipling Gardens and Stoneham Recreation Ground. There are two playgrounds on the seafront, Peter Pan's on Madeira Drive (look in Places to Go Beaches) and King's Road near the West Pier (Places to Go, Swimming & Paddling Pools). Look also at Places to Go Adventure Parks.
Peter Pan’s Playground
BRIGHTON
Peter Pan's Playground is situated on Madeira Drive on the seafront to the East of Brighton Pier. It is a lovely enclosed playground suitable for small children. There is also a cafe and metered parking on the road.
If travelling by bus either get off at the Old Steine and walk along Madeira Drive. The walk will take about 10 minutes or alternatively get off a bus on the A259 coast road (which runs parallel to Madeira Drive). To find buses go to buses.co.uk.
